GORDON'S GIN

The worlds No. 1 London Dry Gin is carefully distilled to the original secret recipe.
It was developed in London in 1769 by a Scot, Alexander Gordon, who had opened a distillery in the Southwark area, later moving in 1786 to Clerkenwell. The Special London Dry Gin he developed proved successful, and its recipe remains unchanged to this day. Triple-distilled, the gin contains juniper berries, coriander seeds, angelica root and one other botanical. In 1858 the worlds first ever cocktail was created using Gordons London Dry Gin and tonic water. Today, 10 bottles of Gordons Gin are consumed per minute around the world.

AMARULA CREAM

Amarula is a cream liqueur manufactured in South Africa. It is made with sugar, cream and the fruit of the African Marula tree (Sclerocarya birrea) which is also locally called the Elephant tree or the Marriage Tree. It has had some success at international spirit ratings competitions, winning a gold medal at the 2006 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
Amarula was first marketed by Southern Liqueur Company of South Africa (the current trademark owners) as a liqueur in September 1989, the Amarula spirit having been launched in 1983. It has the taste of slightly fruity caramel. Amarula has received consistently good reviews, with the caveat that, like many cream liqueurs, it is too sweet for some palates. It has become the second largest seller in the cream liqueur category after Bailey's Irish Cream, with particular success in Brazil. It is popular and common throughout Africa, especially the south and east coast.

KAHLUA

Kahlúa is a Mexican coffee-flavored liqueur. It is dense and sweet, with the distinct taste of coffee, from which it is made. Kahlúa also contains sugar, corn syrup and vanilla bean.

ABSOLUT APEACH

ABSOLUT APEACH was introduced in 2005. It soon found its public around the world, both in Asia where the peach fruit is originally from, and in the part of the world where ABSOLUT is from. (By the way, ABSOLUT also found some devotees in the countries in between).
ABSOLUT APEACH is made exclusively from natural ingredients, and unlike most other flavored vodkas, it doesn’t contain any added sugar. It’s smooth and mellow, with a sophisticated and fruity character of peach.

The main ingredients in ABSOLUT APEACH are ABSOLUT VODKA and peach flavor. ABSOLUT VODKA is made from water and winter wheat. The water comes from a deep well in Åhus where it’s protected from impurities. The winter wheat is also grown in Åhus and differs from other crops: it’s sown in fall, and harvested the next one. Days in between it grows under the Swedish snow developing its hard grain. Also, the use of fertilizers is minimized. Of course, the peaches are just as natural as the rest of the ingredients.

ABSOLUT PEARS

Introduced in 2007, ABSOLUT PEARS is quite a newcomer in the ABSOLUT family. And as with all talented rookies, the audience soon took it to their hearts. Probably because it’s such a good alternative to other overly sugared alternatives around.

ABSOLUT PEARS is made exclusively from natural ingredients, and unlike most other flavored vodkas, it doesn’t contain any added sugar. ABSOLUT PEARS is fresh and delicate, with a smack of mellow pears and a long fruity aftertaste.

The main ingredients in ABSOLUT PEARS are ABSOLUT VODKA and pear flavor. ABSOLUT VODKA is made from water and winter wheat. The water comes from a deep well in Åhus where it’s protected from impurities. The winter wheat is also grown in Åhus and differs from other crops: it’s sown one fall, and harvested the next one. Days in between it grows under the Swedish snow developing its hard grain. Also, the use of fertilizers is minimized. Of course, the pears are as natural as the rest of the ingredients.

ABSOLUT MANDRIN

ABSOLUT MANDRIN was launched in 1999, 20 years after ABSOLUT VODKA. It’s the fourth flavored ABSOLUT in the row after PEPPER, CITRON and KURANT. And since mandarin and orange are among the most popular flavors in the world, ABSOLUT MANDRIN was received with the same enthusiasm as the rest of the family members.

ABSOLUT MANDRIN is made exclusively from natural ingredients, and unlike most other flavored vodkas, it doesn’t contain any added sugar. It’s complex, smooth and mellow with a fruity mandarin and orange character mixed with a note of orange peel.

Days in between it grows under the Swedish snow developing its hard grain. Also, the use of fertilizers is minimized. Though mandarin and orange is the main flavors, other citrus fruits are added to give ABSOLUT MANDRIN its perfect character.

ABSOLUT KURANT

The story behind the name ABSOLUT KURANT is black currant, a typical Swedish berry from which the flavor is taken. When launched in 1992 it was a tribute to the Swedish origin of ABSOLUT. Originally it was even supposed to be called ABSOLUT VINBÄR since the Swedish word for black currant is vinbär. Only thing was that the English pronunciation would have been wine bar.

ABSOLUT KURANT is made exclusively from natural ingredients, and unlike most other flavored vodkas, it doesn’t contain any added sugar. It’s smooth and mellow, with a fruity black currant character and a hint of tartness.

ABSLOUT CITRON

ABSOLUT CITRON was good news for “vodka on the rocks with a twist of lemon” fans back in the 80’s (and there were lots of them). More specifically ABSOLUT CITRON was launched in 1988, nine years after ABSOLUT ORIGINAL and two years after the first flavored family member ABSOLUT PEPPER. The success was major among the twist-of-lemon-people, but it also became the main ingredient in the blockbuster drink “Cosmopolitan”.

ABSOLUT CITRON is made exclusively from natural ingredients, and unlike most other flavored vodkas, it doesn’t contain any added sugar. To put it short and simple: ABSOLUT CITRON is smooth and mellow, with a fresh fruity lemon and lime character and a note of lemon peel.

The main ingredients in ABSOLUT CITRON are ABSOLUT VODKA and citrus flavor. Though lemon is the main flavor, lime is also added to give ABSOLUT CITRON its perfect character.

ABSOLUT RASPBERRI

Since wild raspberries are often found in the Swedish hillsides, nothing could be more natural than introducing ABSOLUT RASPBERRI. And so it was, in 2004, 25 years after the introduction of ABSOLUT VODKA.

ABSOLUT RASPBERRI is made exclusively from natural ingredients, and unlike most other flavored vodkas, it doesn’t contain any added sugar. It’s rich and intense with the fresh and fruity character of ripened raspberries.

The main ingredients in ABSOLUT RASPBERRI are ABSOLUT VODKA and raspberry flavor. ABSOLUT VODKA is made from water and winter wheat. The water comes from a deep well in Åhus where it’s protected from impurities. The winter wheat is also grown in Åhus and differs from other crops: it’s sown one fall, and harvested the next one. ABSOLUT VODKA

ABSOLUT VODKA was first launched in New York in 1979. It soon became talk of the town, the US and eventually of the world. But the recipe behind the pure and natural taste of ABSOLUT is actually older than 30 years. So is the 18th century medicine flask found in an antique store in Stockholm that gave inspiration to the iconic ABSOLUT VODKA bottle.
WHAT DOES TRUE TASTE OF VODKA TASTE LIKE?
ABSOLUT VODKA is made exclusively from natural ingredients, and unlike other vodkas, it doesn’t contain any added sugar. In fact ABSOLUT is as pure as vodka can be. Still, that purity has a certain taste: Rich, full-bodied and complex, yet smooth and mellow with a distinct character of grain, followed by a hint of dried fruit.

ABSOLUT RUBY RED

ABSOLUT RUBY RED was introduced in 2006, just a few years after the success with the other citrus flavored members of the family ABSOLUT CITRON and ABSOLUT MANDRIN. The name ABSOLUT RUBY RED is taken from a special kind of red grapefruit. And grapefruit is of course what it tastes like!
